About the event
Chronic disease prevalence and management continues to be a top health issue, exacerbating the Covid-19 pandemic. Evidenced-based, non-pharmacological approaches to both prevention and management of chronic disease exist, but are not well integrated into health systems in the United States. This presentation reviews how non-pharmacologic approaches can impact chronic disease in patient populations, and play a role in empowering nurses and reducing burnout.

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the factors in preventing and management of chronic disease.
